ZF4 sniper scope 'dow'

A nice original ZF4 4x sniper scope, as used with the G/K43, StG44, FG42 and K98k series of weapons from 1943 onwards. 
 
This particular example was produced under the maker code 'dow', which identifies the manufacturer as Opticotechna GmbH, Werk Prerau/Protektorat, located in occupied Czechoslovakia. The serial number also identifies this example as being a part of one of the earlier batches of production. 
 
The optics and reticle remain clear and usable, and aside from some surface corrosion - which could surely be cleaned, if so inclined - this scope remains in good, original condition. It also comes complete with its windage cap.
