Zeiss TWZF3f observation periscope + accessories

A wonderful boxed example of the brass 'TWZF3f'  model observation periscope which was manufactured by Carl Zeiss Jena. 
 
Whilst specific information on the use of this particular model of optic is scarce, TWFZ is the designation for Turm-Winkelziehlfernrohr, and as such use is likely to have been within the turret of a Panzer or similar AFV. 
 
This set comes complete with all the associated accessories, as shown. Included is the original rubber browpad, nice marked 'DRGM' for Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster and also the adjustable blanking plate for use with either the right or left eye depending on user preference. 
 
The adjustable optics remain fully functional and produce a crystal clear image! A clear aiming inverted 'V' type reticule is visible inside.
