Zeiss 'blc' 7x50 U-boat binoculars

A wonderful late-war pair of Zeiss 'blc' coded 7x50 U-boat binoculars, presented in fully original untouched condition with rubber armour and leather neck strap. 
 
Each U-boat would have carried a complement of 10 of these binoculars for use on watch duties etc whilst surfaced.
 
Factory finished in the typical KM shade of yellow/green, this particular set still retains the vast majority of the original smooth painted finish throughout. 
 
They are a set which have everything you would wish to see on a late war example of this binocular - including the original factory-fitted un-dyed coarse brown leather neck strap, rubber armour of a slightly degraded quality versus earlier variants and the rose coloured lens coatings! 
 
The fixed-focus optics produce a very clear and usable image! 
 
A super honest fully original example of this iconic piece of U-boat related equipment that would make a perfect addition for display and/or use within any WWII collection!
