Zeiss 7x50 Kriegsmarine Murwik U-boat training school binoculars
A truly incredible rarity here!
A pair of early-war Kriegsmarine binoculars that were produced for, and specifically issued to, the 'Steuermann Schule' (U-boat Helmsman's Training School) within the Kriegsmarine's main training academy - initially based at Murwik, before being moved over to Gotenhafen later in the war.
Notably, is that there are now just 2x known examples noted of this variant surviving today - with the other being documented within the 'Carl Zeiss Handferngläser 1919-1946' reference book by Dr. Hans Seeger (see excerpts within the images above from pp. 288 / 290).
Further information about this training school for U-boat Steuermann crewmen can be found at the link below:

They are very nicely inscribed with the early Carl Zeiss Jena maker's logo to the left prism plate; along with the Kreigsmarine property, 'Strm. Sch' and 'Nr.17' inventory number being inscribed to the right-hand side.
The optics remain clear, yet could also benefit from an overhaul to restore full function to the left side ocular adjustment (turns but does not adjust vertically) and remove some loose internal debris inside the lower barrels, if desired.
A pair which are surely not one to be missed for any serious collectors of Kriegsmarine U-boat related equipment items and/or optics!
It is almost certain that we will never encounter another pair of these binoculars again!
