Zeiss 7x50 Kriegsmarine smooth ocular binoculars + early Benutzer

A very scarce pair of early-war Kriegsmarine 'smooth ocular' U-boat binoculars, which come fitted with the exceptionally rare early leather Benutzer cover with white roundels. 
 
They are nicely inscribed with the Carl Zeiss Jena maker's logo, as well as the KM property markings (which remain completely intact). The 'T' designation for coated lenses is also present. 
 
As to be expected with quality Zeiss binoculars such as these, the optics still remain in good useable order to this day despite never being opened since they were made! 
 
In nearly a decade of collecting optics this is one of only a small handful of surviving 7x50 sets which we have seen with the distinctive early model Benutzer cover - which is also clearly visible in numerous period U-boat photographs online etc.
 
One that's not to be missed for any collectors of U-boat related items or optics!
