A scarce pair of early-war Kriegsmarine binoculars which were specifically issued to Küstenartillerie (Coastal Artillery) personnel, but could also be found in use aboard seafaring vessels and U-boats etc.
They are a pair which have undergone some cosmetic refurbishment in the past, yet remain nicely inscribed with the Carl Zeiss Jena maker's logo - as well as having the early style of KM Reichsadler eagle property marking. They are also named to a previous owner on the underside, as shown.
The optics still remain in usable condition as they are, but could also still benefit from an internal cleaning if desired.
