Named 7x50 Kriegsmarine gas mask binoculars 'blc' + compass

£0.00Price

A nice US veteran bring-back set of the mid to late-war Kriegsmarine issue Zeiss 7x50 'gas ocular' binoculars, along with the matching named compass.

The rubber eyepieces are still the original wartime examples, designed to be used in conjunction with a gas mask if needed.

The optics, whilst still functional, would require repair/replacement to an internal prism to return them to a full unhindered state of usability if deemed necessary.

As shown, they also come with the German wartime Bakelite compass, which is also inscribed with the matching name of the US solider - Lt. Voight - by whom they were captured. Note this piece also features the original name of the German solider to whom it was clearly once issued - Karl Scherr.

A set that would make a great addition to any Kriegsmarine or optic collection etc!
