A super example of the mid to late-war Kriegsmarine issue Zeiss 7x50 'gas ocular' binoculars.
The rubber eyepieces are later replacement examples, but originally designed to be used in conjunction with a gas mask if and when required.
As to be expected with top quality Zeiss binoculars such as these, the optics produce a very nice sharp image. All lenses have the original lens coatings intact.
An item that would make a great addition to any Kriegsmarine or optic collection, as well as being a pair that are still highly suited for continued use to this day!
