A very nice example of the mid to late-war Kriegsmarine issue Zeiss 7x50 'gas ocular' binoculars.
The rubber eyepieces are the original wartime examples, designed to be used in conjunction with a gas mask if needed. Note the partial tear in one side.
Despite some chipping to the prism in one side, the optics produce a very nice image that is not impacted! A superb binocular to use.
An item that would make a great addition to any Kriegsmarine or optic collection, as well as being a pair that are still highly suited for use today!
