Zeiss 7x50 Kriegsmarine gas mask binoculars 'blc'

Direct from our own personal colleciton; a pretty much perfect example of the mid to late-war Kriegsmarine issue Zeiss 7x50 'gas ocular' binoculars.
 
This variant was issued to coastal troops, those stationed aboard surface vessels and also U-Boats.
 
This set comes complete with all its original factory-fitted accessories; including the Bakelite 'Benutzer' ocular guard, as well as the matching leather neck strap and button retainer tab - exactly as they were found! 
 
Even the original rubber eyepieces, designed to be used in conjunction with a gas mask, remain in very good shape indeed. The Carl Zeiss Jena 'blc' maker code and serial number are marked to the right-hand prism plate.
 
As to be expected with top quality Zeiss binoculars such as these, the coated lens optics remain excellent and produce a superb image! One of the best we have ever seen in fact!
 
These binoculars are getting extremely hard to find in such top condition, and especially complete with all the original factory-fitted accessories like this. 
 
They would make a wonderful addition to any Kriegsmarine or optic collection - being an item that still remains very much suitable for continued use today!
 
A nigh on perfect set that couldn't ever really be upgraded!
