A scarce set of early-war Kriegsmarine binoculars, inscribed for issue to Coastal Artillery troops - yet also of a type that was also used aboard surface ships / U-boats etc.
They are nicely inscribed with the Carl Zeiss Jena maker's logo, as well as retaining fully intact original KM property markings to both prism plates.
This particular pair are fitted with the early black rubber eyepieces as intended for use with a gas mask if required.
The optics still produce a functional and collimated image, yet with some considerable haze and so would benefit from an internal clean if desired for usability purposes or as part of a full restoration.
