An extremely rare original Waffenmeister modified AA spider sight for the MG34.
Comprising an additional outer ring (to enable more accurate targetting of faster planes), this variation was most often utilised with the MG34 employed upon the Zwillingsockel mount.
At present, the (un)locking mechanism to the base is seized and so this is likely to need oiling in order to restore movement. Yet, unlike the vast majority of few surviving examples found today, this is not a ground-dug relic and so the piece remains completely solid.
Certainly one of the rarest of the rare when it comes to MG34 accessories!
