Scarce Wehrmacht issue French-made Huet 8x24 handheld periscope.
Clearly marked with the H/6400 designation for the German military Strichplatte rangefinding reticule, which is contained within the right-hand side of the optics.
The optics, whilst still functional, would require cleaning / recollimation if desired to restore to full working use purposes rather than purely for display.
An interesting handheld periscope set that would make a nice addition to any collection of combat equipment!
