Untouched 6x30 Dienstglas 'cag' + case 'jhg 44'

An untouched veteran bring-back set of tan painted 6x30 Dienstglas binoculars, still contained within their original red Bakelite storage case. 
 
The binoculars are nicely maker coded 'cag' to indicate manufacture by Swarovski, Tirol, Austria, and come fitted with their original factory-applied leather neck strap (torn) and leather button tab - still retaining the tan painted attachment studs! 
 
Optically they are nonfunctional, and as such they comprise a display piece only.
 
The storage case is a scarce late-war variant produced from red coloured Bakelite, and is maker coded/dated 'jhg 44' to one of the leather belt loops. Note that one of the attachment studs has become detached from the base due to damage, as shown. 
 
Nevertheless, they remain a great example for anyone who wants true, 'been there and seen it' set for their collection!
