An excellent original mid to late-war 50 round drum basket or Gurttrommel for the MG34/42.
This particular example retains the vast majority of the original factory-applied tan paint, and is maker coded 'ddf' - denoting manufacture by Lohmann-Werke, A.G., Bielefeld.
Having been subsequently protected by storage grease, the interior is also in similarly top condition. Even the white painted directional arrow for the belt remains intact.
One of the last few examples that we have remaining, and once they're gone it's not certain when or if we'll get any more!
