A nice original mid to late-war 50 round drum (Gurttrommel) for the MG34/42.
This particular example retains the vast majority of the original factory-applied tan paint and is maker coded 'ddf', denoting manufacture by Lohmann-Werke, A.G., Bielefeld.
Having been protected by storage grease throughout, the interior is also in good condition and even the white painted directional arrow for the belt remains intact.
Surely the number one accessory for any MG34 or MG42!
