A very nice original mid-war 50 round drum basket or Gurttrommel for the MG34/42.
This particular example retains much of the original tan camo paint, applied over the factory field grey/red oxide primer layers.
It is clearly maker coded 'wc 43' to indicate production by Hasag, Hugo Schneider AG (Meuselwitz plant) during 1943.
Surely the number one accessory for any MG34 or MG42!
