A very rare card ammunition box which would've once held 15 rounds of the highly prized 7.92x57mm s.S. Beschußpatronen, dated 1942.
These special rounds were loaded to an greater standard than normal 7.92x57mm ball ammo, including precise measurement of propellent to ensure even higher ballistic performance!
As such, it's unsurprising that Scharfschützen (snipers) were issued with such rounds for use on frontlines where accuracy was of even greater importance.
Clearly, not many of these Beschußpatronen boxes survive today, and indeed this represents the first individual box of this type which we have ever been able to offer!
