A very nice example of the wooden storage / transit box for the SF14 periscope trench binoculars.
This particular box has undergone a sympathetic restoration to the exterior in correct period grey/green over red oxide primer. The original canvas carry straps remain fitted to the reverse.
Internally, the box it retains the original internal fittings, as shown, to hold the periscope and associated accessories securely.
