An excellent example of the scarce late-war red colour Bakelite case for the 6x30 field binoculars.
This particular example still retains the rear leather belt loops, one of which is Waffenamt marked. The front closure mechanism functions perfectly and is fitted with a grey Presstoff pull tab.
The case also comes with a natural brown leather carry strap, with metal clip fittings. This is non-standard, but since it was found this way it has remained attached.
