A superb example of the scarce late-war red coloured Bakelite case for the 6x30 field binoculars.
This particular case remains in excellent overall condition, and comes complete with the fully intact rear leather belt loops which are nicely marked 'jhg 44 WaA41' - indicating manufacture by Gustav Genschow u. Co., AG, Lederwarenfabriken, Alstadt-Hachenburg, in 1944.
The front closure mechanism functions exactly as it should, and also retains its Presstoff pull tab. The perfect example for any late-war display!
