RARE Srb & Stys 8x40 Dienstglas binoculars 'bmk'

An extremely rare, untouched pair the 8x40 power Dienstglas field binoculars which were produced by Srb & Stys Fabrik Praziser Messinstrumente, Prag, under the 'bmk' maker code.
 
Factory finished in the typical textured black paint, this pair also still retains the original leather ocular cover and attachment cord as shown - a version unique to production by this maker! 
 
The optics on this pair still function and focus smoothly to produce a very usable image, with a superb field of view and are noticably an sizable improvement over the standard 6x30 etc. Of course, as with any untouched binocular they could also still benefit from an internal clean/service as well if desired. 
 
This is the first example of this extremely rare model of Dienstglas which we have ever had to offer, and an example that is surely missing from even the most focussed of optic collections!
