RARE Emil Busch 'cxn' 7x50 U-boat binoculars
An extremely rare, as found pair the 7x50 U-boat binoculars produced by Emil Busch, Rathenow under the 'cxn' maker code - not by Carl Zeiss Jena.
According to serial number studies, this binocular is 1 of only around 35+ or so examples which are still known to survive today!
Factory finished in the typical KM shade of yellow/green, this particular set retains the vast majority of the original textured painted finish.
The fixed-focus and coated optics on this pair still function to produce a collimated/aligned image after all this time - however, they are offered as a pair which would definitely benefit from a full internal clean/service if desired for any serious use purposes.
The lens coatings are of the bright blue colour; one of the unique features of these binoculars that were manufactured by Emil Busch.
An incredibly rare variant of the highly desirable 7x50 U-boat binocular to find in any state, yet alone in full original condition. A piece that would definitely be a highlight within any Kriegsmarine or optics related collection!
