A very nice, combat used pre-war gas mask set consisting of the canister, long strap and mask with filter.
The early variation of canister retains the vast majority of the original factory-applied apple green paint, with the remnants of a whitewash winter camo overpaint also still clearly visible to the exterior. There is some surface damage to one side where the can has been resting over time. Internally, it is dated 1936 and maker coded 'E.F.G.'.
Overall, a very honest set which would complement a winter display or mannequin setup very nicely!
