A nice original battery box as used with a variety of optical instruments, including the MG34/42 MGZ scopes, 10x80 Flakfernrohr and SF14 periscope, EM34 rangefinder etc.
This example has received a reissue green overpaint at some stage, with original factory field grey paint still visible beneath in areas, as well as to all of the interior.
Internally, the box is very nicely maker coded 'ddv' and Waffenamt proof stamped, as well as retaining all of its internal fittings and electrical connectors.
