A very nice gas mask set consisting of the tall canister, long shoulder strap, M38 mask, cloth and spare lenses. A later short strap has been added to complete the set.
The canister retains the vast majority of the green paint finish and is maker marked/dated 'gov 1942', as well as being named "Durain" to the base - interestingly, a name likely to be of French origin.
All in all an excellent example of its type, and one which is retained in great condition inside and out!
