Mint K98k rifle sling 'dkk'

An exceptionally nice, late-war period leather K98k sling in mint condition. Of course, the StG44 and G/K43 semi-automatic rifle etc were also designed to accept this same sling. 
 
This example looks to have never been issued and as such has avoided any oiling, whilst retaining the ricasso cross-hatch pattern throughout.
 
There are visible remains of the 'dkk' maker's code to the inside surface, signifying production by Friedrich Offermann u. Soehne, Lederwarenfabrik, Bensberg - most likely during 1944/45. 
 
Certainly one of the best examples we have ever had to offer, it would surely prove extremely difficult to upgrade upon this one!
