Here we have a mint, unissued condition original storage case which was made specifically for the late-war Bakelite 6x30 Dienstglas binoculars.
The case itself is produced from black Presstoff material, with the accompanying shoulder strap in leather. It is nicely marked with the 'cxn 4' maker code to denote production by Emil Busch AG, Optische Industrie, Rathenow during 1944. Indeed, this example even still displays a faint blue ink '1944' stamp to the inside surface of the leather strap.
A real time capsule piece and an item which would be impossible to upgrade upon!
It would make the ideal addition to any similarly mint condition Bakelite 6x30 binoculars out there!
