MG42 Lafette tripod mount 'eat 1942'

A very nice example of the s.M.G. heavy Lafette tripod for the MG42.
 
This particular example is an original which has gone on to serve with the Austrian Bundesheer and so sports their dark green paint colour - yet remains complete with matching 1943 dated upper and lower sections.
 
The traverse and elevation mechanism also retains its original (aluminium variant) Überschießtafel overhead firing data plaque.
 
As is typical, the tripod is littered with plenty of Waffenamt proof markings to the smaller parts etc throughout.
 
All adjustment mechanisms remain fully functional and it is ready to accept any MG42 to make for a truly stunning display setup!
