MG34T Panzermantel ground kit box

A very rare original 'MG-Zubehör' (MG accessories) box for the heavy MG34T or 'Panzermantel' - complete with the original internal fittings! 
 
This box would have been stored within the Panzer (IV, Panther, Tiger I, King Tiger etc) itself or other AFV, and contained the vital ground adaptation kit - including an MG34 buttstock, bipod, clamps, AA sight, sling etc - which was to be used in the event of the crews evacuation from the vehicle.

This particular example available here still retains the vast majority of the original ivory/tan coloured paint, as well as the original black painted stencil designation 'MG-Zubehör' to the front lid. 
 
Incredibly, all of the internal wooden fixtures and fittings have been retained inside - and as such the box is only one of just a handful surviving examples which still have this feature! 
 
Aside from a couple of missing felt lining pads to the upper lid, this fantastic example is totally complete; ready to be displayed or even used within an armoured vehicle restoration project.
 
We do not anticipate ever being able to find and offer another one in such condition like this again!
