MG34 wooden storage / transit box

A very nice example of the original wartime production stroage / transit box for the MG34 light machine gun as part of the Portuguese contract. Not one of the modern copies, which are never truly correct or indeed of the same quality as these originals. 
 
Complete with all of the internal fittings and compartments to hold the MG34, as well as numerous accessories - such as the gunner's tool kit and multiple spare Laufschützer barrel carrier containers etc. 
 
A very hard item indeed to find on offer for sale separately from the MG - and a piece which makes for one of the best ways to store and uniquely display an MG34 along with the associated kit that there is out there!
