A very nice original brown leather sling for the MG42.
The maker code and date 'gyb 1943' still remains visible to the leather, indicating manufacture by Bauer, Wilhelm, Friedr., G.m.b.H., Lederwarenfabrik, Offenbach.
Please note that since this is the mid-late war version, with the wider rear attachment buckle, that this example will fit the MG42 and also the earlier MG34 as well.
It's getting increasingly hard now to find original wartime examples such as this!
