MG34 E-Kasten '799 1939' + contents

A very nice example of the MG34 E-Kasten or Ersatzteilkasten (spare parts box), which comes complete with all of the original contents as shown. 
 
This set is housed in a very nice aluminium Patronenkasten 34 model ammo can, which was repurposed for use as an E-Kasten with the appropriate stencilling, and originally issued to the MG34 with serial number '5211b' as part of the Portuguese contract. 
 
The tin retains the vast majority of the original wartime factory-applied dark grey/green paint. It is also maker coded/dated '799 1939' and Waffenamt marked. 
 
All of the handles remain fully functional whilst also retaining the original leather covers!
