An incredibly rare early, pre-war production starter tab for the MG34/42 ammo belt or Patronengurt.
This example is marked for production by BSW / Berlin Suhler Waffenfabrik in July 1936 to the main tab and the end tab. Along with the early Weimar style proof markings, as shown.
Full original wartime finish and even constructed with a couple of the very early stainless steel links.
One of the very earliest and rarest pieces MG34 related equipment that it is possible to find!
