MG34/42 Patronengurt 34 'dfb 11.40 WaA4'
A very nice example of the early Patronengurt 34 model belt, as used with the MG34 and later MG42. This variation holds 50 rounds and was only produced between April 1938 and August 1941, by which time the updated and slightly remodelled Patronengurt 34/41 had been introduced into service.
This particular example is presented in excellent condition, with superb bluing, and is very nicely marked 'dfb 11.40' to indicate production by Gustloff-Werke during October 1940.
An interesting feature which is not often seen is the use of copper chain links, giving it a somewhat unique look. It would be very hard to upgrade upon this one!
