Scarce original storage box for the MG34/42 MGZ 40 optic as used in conjunction with the heavy Lafette tripod.
Left exactly as found and still with the vast majority of the orignal factory-applied tan paint finish intact, as well as the stencil designation!
The box is also Waffenamt proof marked and retains a fully operational front closing mechanism. A rare piece to find in original wartime finish!
