A very nice fully functioning MG34/42 50 round drum (Gurttrommel).
This example still retains most of the original wartime field grey paint, having been protected by storage grease, and is clearly maker coded/dated 'hqu 43' - indicating production by Markes & Co. Metallwarenfabtik u. Apparatebau, in 1943.
