A very nice untouched and fully functioning MG34/42 50 round drum (Gurttrommel).
 
This example still retains most of the original field grey paint, and is clearly maker coded/dated 'hqu 43' to indicate production by Markes & Co. Metallwarenfabtik u. Apparatebau, in 1943.
