This example still retains the vast majority of the original field grey paint, and is clearly maker coded/dated 'ddf' - denoting manufacture by Lohmann-Werke, A.G., Bielefeld.
A must-have item for any collector of MG34/42 related equipment and quite hard to find now in this original wartime condition!
