A nice original drum carrier frame (Gurttrommelträger) for the MG34/42.
This example is in completely 'as found' condition, with the factory-applied field grey/green paint remaining intact to a decent degree throughout. Both of the horse hair cushioning pads are also still fitted.
The frame is clearly maker coded '959' and dated 1943.
A great accessory for any MG34/42 or combat related equipment collection!
