A lovely pre-war RG34 cleaning set as was issued for use with the K98, MG34 and various other German infantry small arms.
The kit tin is maker marked 'HAWIG' and Waffenamt proof marked to the exterior. Note the serial number of the weapon with which it was issued ' '2433' - has also been field-applied.
Inside, all of the tools and cleaning accessories are included as shown - including the matching 'HAWIG' maker marked chain, spoon and steel oiler!
