A superb matching set of 15x original empty used card ammunition boxes which would have each held fifteen 7.92x57mm Patronen S.m.E. rounds to be used with the K98k, MG34/42 etc.
All boxes are dated 1944 with original matching factory-applied labels, as shown, with the maker code 'wg' for Hugo Schneider A.-G., Werk Altenburg, Altenburg.
Could not really ever be upgraded in this condition!
