An exceptionally scarce single decal Kriegsmarine M42 helmet in very good original condition.
The shell is maker coded and size marked 'ckl 64' to indicate production by Eisenhüttenwerke, Thale, and retains 95%+ of the original factory-applied grey paint.
This helmet also remains fitted with its original leather liner and full-length chinstrap, as shown.
A truly excellent example of its type - as well as being one of the rarest variants of all of the German combat helmets produced during WWII!
