A very scarce M.F. 4x optical monocular for the bearing circle instrument that was manufactured under the 'dow' code by Opticotechnica GmbH, Prerau.
The optic has an integral filter lens externally. Internally, the lenses would require cleaning if wishing to use the piece - but a vertical aiming reticule can still be seen.
A rare piece of German WWII optical equipment!
