Leitz 7x50 Kriegsmarine U-boat binoculars 'beh'

A very nice, completely original pair of 7x50 binoculars produced by Leitz Wetzlar (under the 'beh' maker code) for use by Kriegsmarine surface ship / U-boat crewmen. 
 
Unlike most, this pair still retains the original rubber armour to the bridge section and both objectives. As is typical with this model, they also exhibit a lovely bronze anodised finish to both of the ocular housings. 
 
The optics remain somewhat useable and focus smoothly on both sides, although they would certainly benefit from a service if desired for more serious use purposes.
