A very nice late-war German trench periscope, as was used by infantry, snipers and MG gunners alike etc.
This particular example remains in very nice condition, with the vast majority of the original factory applied tan paint remaining intact. It is nicely three letter code maker marked 'dow' for Optikotechna GmbH.
The original rubber eye-piece (slight break, but stable) is still present, and the optics remain clear with the internal rangefinding reticule!
A scarce and desirable piece of late-war German combat equipment!
