A scarce original anti-aircraft spider sight for the MG42. This particular variation is of late-war manufacture, using stamped construction to form the main ring and web. A Waffenamt marking is still partially visible to the stem.
One of these accessories would have been carried in the belt-mounted tool pouches (Werkzeugtasche).
