A very nice original mid to late-war MG34/42 leather gunner's tool kit pouch.
Unlike many, this particular one retains all of its internal fixtures and fittings to hold the tools - including the metal AA sight pouch, which was adapted by this stage in the war so that it could accept both the MG34 and MG42 variants of anti-aircraft AA spider sights.
The pouch still retains the faint stamp of the serial number of the MG with which it was issued on the underside of the closure strap.
