A nice and scarcely seen late-war period leather sling for the K98k rifle (as well as the Gewehr 43, Sturmgewehr 44 etc).
Still in good combat used condition, the sling comes complete with the original keeper tab which is maker marked and dated 'gzr/4' (1944).
The leather has some relatively minor dryness, but still remains fairly supple throughout and could still be fitted to a rifle without any issue.
