Late-war black map case

A scarce late-war variation of the standard map case made from an Ersatz type textured black leather.
 
There is some damage to the closure strap and folding seam of the front flap as shown, as well as an illegible maker's mark to the inside. 
 
The rear belt loops remain intact and feature roller buckle adjustment.
